Last May I participated (without being there physically, since I was in France during the show), in Northeast Minneapolis Art Association’s spring Art-a-Whirl as a member of the Twin Cities Photography Group.
Apparently continual downpours and road construction outside the venue kept most people away. With little traffic, it wasn’t a very successful show for anyone. I sold a couple of things, but not nearly enough to justify the time and expense that went into it.
So, since almost no one saw most of these images as prints, I thought I would share them here.
Prints and cards offered for sale
For the show I produced three sets of images, each of which included a canvas and traditional print of each featured image and then a set of cards to go with it.
The featured images may look a little familiar, as each made an appearance in some form in camera club competition.
Dreaming of mountains
These are all scenes from Glacier National Park in Montana and the Canadian Rockies.
Far from the city (farm scenes from another time)
While the featured image here was entered in Camera Club competition (where it did poorly), for this show I redid the image to make it look old and “grungy.”
Night at the fair
I still have some of each of these available as prints and cards. Contact me if you are interested in making a purchase.
