Looking a little more at my shots from the other day, it’s clear that the effects of changes in shutter speed are far more obvious when I’m closer to the water.

For some reason I didn’t get anything at 1-2 seconds, but I love the softness and the way some of the leaves move enough at 6 seconds to become slightly translucent. For this shot, I wish I’d been able to get an even longer exposure that would make the water even softer.
