Earlier this spring I shot a series of photos of a fish shack along Stoney Point north of Duluth, Minnesota. It was a cloudy, damp day with occasional rain, but I think I got a few acceptable shots.
They’re fine, but most aren’t particularly interesting, so I decided to play with them a bit and ended up choosing “Metropolitan” from the “Seattle” black and white Lightroom presets developed by Nicolesy for the bulk of my edits. As usual, I adjusted the settings some to get exactly the effect I wanted.
I like how it make the shack pop out of the scenery, but I’m still deciding how well I like it for the scenery itself.
